![]() The water park is included in the room charge of course but the other attractions cost extra. This place is probably most optimum for kids 8 - 10 years old, though younger & older ones can enjoy it. It's kind of like being on a cruise ship - you really don't need to leave for anything if you don't want to. It's not bad but not as tasty as ordering off the menu at a restaurant like Denny's or IHOP. The restaurant: we ate breakfast at the buffet twice. The resort has a daily schedule of (younger) kids activities (storytime, bingo etc.) but my kids weren't interested. The arcade isn't bad but beware the games in which you attempt to grab a prize with the dropping claw - several times we had a prize and it simply let it loose before reaching the exit chute. My kids did the Shadowquest game and really enjoyed it. Other attractions: high ropes course was good. Free towels are available there and there is a snack bar and a shop to buy pool related stuff. There were enough exciting slides/activities to keep my kids entertained, though we spent maybe only 6 hours total there. Except for one ride (the green tube ride) lines were short despite that it was spring break. But it is nice and since it is compact it's quick to get to any feature. The lazy river and the wave pool are both fine but small compared to other parks. The indoor water park: smallest water park we've been to (been to Typhoon Texas, Schlitterbahn, Aquatica Orlando, the two Disney World water parks etc). The room: fine, roomier than the average hotel room, kids (13 & 11 yo) liked the kid camp bunk bed, the main bed was supposed to be queen sized but looked full size to me. We stayed two nights March 10 & 11 2019 in a kid camp room. I have never been to a Great Wolf before but I can guarantee that it is checked off and it won’t be on the list again. Some of the employees had no idea what went on in other parts of the resort. And as far as the room-the toilet was dirty and we requested more washcloths and NEVER received them! The buffet restaurant had no forks the time we dined and the food needed to be replenished. Really?!! How much are you making off of us that you will charge if we don’t return the cheap, worn down towel that you can get in bulk?!! Tsk tsk. Also didn’t like the fact that you had to return all of your beach towels or you would be penalized. Not sure if things were kinda crazy bc it was spring break but they should be prepared for that. Hard to let this one slide when it is a water park. The baby pool guards didn’t even look in the water. It seemed the only ones that did were the guards on the slides waiting on the hand signal. Although there was an adequate amount of them, they really didn’t seem to focus on their one job.
